Does RTT™ work?

Yes! Some clients may need more than one RTT session on a particular issue, but no more than three sessions.

What happens in an RTT™ session?

Each Rapid Transformational Therapy™ session lasts around two hours. We start by clarifying EXACTLY what issue or challenege you want to work on. Then I guide you into a very relaxed state of hypnosis. You will always be in control and you will remember everything afterwards. In this relaxed state with access to your subconscious mind, we review scenes from your life which have everything to do with where your issue or challenge comes from. Looking at these scenes with new insights and understanding, you are able to reframe the meaning you gave the scenes, upgrade your beliefs and set yourself free! I then create a personalised transformational audio recording for you, using YOUR WORDS, installing the helpful and supportive beliefs you want which are aligned to how you want to be and what you want in your life. You receive your transformational audio recording which you listen to for at least 21 days.

Can I get "stuck" in hypnosis?

No, you cannot! This is a classic old wive’s tale. You have complete control the whole time. You are able to talk, scratch your nose, pick up a tissue, even get up and leave.

Does RTT™ work over Zoom?

Yes! RTT™ via Zoom is JUST AS EFFECTIVE as it is seeing each other in-person.

Not only that, there’s an added bonus having RTT™ via can have your session from the comfort of your own home! You could do it laid on your own sofa, snuggled under your favourite blanket with your favourite cushion/pillow etc.

How does RTT™ work?

Hypnosis is not magic, it is science! It works by changing your brain waves and you become more and more relaxed. So much so that our eyes go into Rapid Eye Movement (REM) which also happens when we are dreaming. This is what allows you to access the subconscious. It’s a very natural state and easy to do, anyone can do it, you’ll see for yourself when you do it too!

How will I feel after the session?

Each person feels different afterwards. Some people are energised, feel lighter and free, bouncing with excitement. Other people are relaxed, and want to take some time to reflect. Some people continue to discover more about themselves and their beliefs and behaviours. No matter how you feel afterwards, I always ensure you leave understanding where the issue/challenege came from, with a sense of freedom and empowerment.

Is the session confidential?

Yes, I take this VERY seriously! As a therapist I am required to protect your privacy, just like a doctor is required to keep your records private. All clients are assured of confidentiality about any disclosures, in accordance with professional codes of ethics.

What if I don't want to go back to a traumatic scene?

In some cases e.g. PTSD, we will not go back to scenes relating to the specific trauma, it is not necessary for you to review these scenes.

When will I see a change?

There are three types of change from RTT™, you may experience one or a combination: 1/ Immediate: You feel a shift immeditaely in your physiology, behaviours and thoughts. 2/ Incremental: Over the 21 days you see consistent shifts in your physiology, behaviours and thoughts. 3/ Retrospective: You see the shift all of a sudden one day! You look back and notice the changes in your physiology, behaviours and thoughts.

What ages do you work with?

18 to 120 year olds! Please note: 1/ It must be YOUR CHOICE to work with me. 2/ It is essential that addressing your issue is one of your TOP PRIORITIES and that you are committed (in addition to other prioiries e.g. caring for children/family, working etc.).

What if I go back to a painful or scary scene?

You will be in safe hands, I promise! If a scene of trauma emerges such as sexual or physical abuse, I will remind you that you are SAFE, that you are REVIEWING the scene and NOT reliving it. I will totally support you, guide you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions allowing you to set yourself free!

What does it feel like when you're having an RTT™ session?

You may have feels different for different people. Most people feel deeply relaxed. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not. Some people feel a tingling sensation, some do not. Some people feel different each time they have an RTT™ session. The most important thing to know is that how you feel is NOT an indicator of how effective it is. Regardless of what it feels like, it is working.

What if I think I already know the reason for my issue or challenge?

This is a great start! RTT™ is amazing because even when we are certain we know what is holding us back, in the session we see it in a COMPLETELY new light. Many clients go back to different scenes to the one(s) they expect to go back to. Trust that your subconscious will show you EXACTLY what you need to see.
